Hypnosis can help you take a whole new look at what you’re really about and who you really are!

Perhaps your Life Story is filled with disappointment and hard times, in which you are the victim? Or perhaps your story is one of a life filled with abundance?

Are you sure your ‘Life Story’, as you know it, is True?

We have been telling stories since prehistoric times! These stories help to explain, teach and improve our understanding of life. Of course, much of Our ‘Life Story’ is based on facts, stored in our memory, or from photograph albums or diaries. We can recall some of the ‘facts’, about family structure, names, places, relatives, jobs, and locations without difficulty, as these are important pieces of our own ‘Life Story’. And we may use Internet search tools to gather additional details of our family story to enhance and embellish our memory of our own story.

However, much of our ‘Life Story’ of events or people, is fabricated. We construct a story based on our ‘interpretation of our memories’ of people or events, based on what we think we remember and the emotional responses, we think we experienced. How often have you been with relatives and talked about a period of time, event or person, only to discover your view is very different than theirs. We all arrange our memories in a contextual envelope which may differ substantially for each person who was present.

When we tell ourselves, or others, our ‘Life Story’ we share the significant memories, at least those we are prepared to share, to explain who we are. Therefore, our memories are the basis for “Who We Are”, even if those memories are false or inaccurate.

Your story may include negative memories or events about yourself, perhaps emphasizing what a failure you were. These stories are going to drag you down and contribute to low self-esteem and feelings of unworthiness. Stories about past failures or inadequacies, may not be false memories, they may be memories based on upbringing. Perhaps you were constantly criticized, put-down and told you were a failure or stupid. Receiving this negative feedback, especially in childhood, will often create a negative ‘Life Story’ because that’s what was heard all the time. Effectively, the story we tell is someone else’s story, about ourself rather than our own story!

We believe the story, and hold ourselves back, due to lack confidence, suffer from low self-esteem, depression, negativity and do not believe that good outcome will ever come, so there is no point in trying.

The cycle of negativity continues, and the associated feelings confirm the negative truths, which becomes more and more ingrained into who we are.

There is good news, however, as no matter what happened in your life, no matter how sad and depressing your story is, you have the power to change your story. You can escape from the negative storyline which controls you.

You can re-write your story into one that emphasizes your good traits and abilities and includes the good feelings and love that can free you from negativity.

Through Hypnosis, we can create a more positive life story which will help you to escape from the limiting beliefs of an overly negative Storyline.

During this process you will experience profound physical relaxation and your brain will become quiet and stop racing with random thoughts.

You will achieve a sense of control and experience the positive emotions of self-respect, self-confidence and self-esteem.
